# Terms of Use

The rules of the site, alongside the rules of the board.

These terms apply when you visit **arrowpuzzle.space** and play Arrow Puzzle. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

## 1. The service

Arrow Puzzle is a free browser puzzle game with a campaign, a daily challenge, weekly themes and leaderboards. The game is provided as-is and may change, including levels, features, visual themes and the availability of leaderboards. We do not guarantee that any particular level, score or saved game will remain available forever.

## 2. Playing fairly

You may play for personal enjoyment. You agree not to:

- use bots, scripts, automation or modified clients to play or submit scores;
- exploit a bug to obtain a score, star count or leaderboard position you did not earn;
- attempt to access another player's save, session or account;
- interfere with the site, its servers or other players, including through excessive requests or denial-of-service activity;
- submit a replay that was not produced by playing the puzzle on this site.

Daily leaderboard scores are checked against their replays. We may reject, remove or withhold a score that fails verification, and may restrict access to leaderboards or the site where abuse is suspected.

## 3. Anonymous sessions and saves

You can play without creating an account. An anonymous session and a local save help keep your progress together. You are responsible for the device and browser where that session lives. Clearing site data, using a private window, or losing the session cookie may make a save unreachable.

Do not rely on the game as a storage service for anything important. Saves are provided as a convenience and may be reset or removed if they are corrupted, abusive or incompatible with a future version.

## 4. Intellectual property

The game, its code, board designs, visual themes, text and branding are owned by the operator or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may play the game and share links to it. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, reverse-engineer or create a competing service from the game's code or assets without permission, except where the law expressly allows it.

Leaderboard display names and avatars are generated by the service. You do not acquire rights in another player's entry by appearing on a board.

## 5. Advertising and third-party services

The site uses third-party providers for hosting and storage and may use providers for analytics or advertising. Those providers have their own terms and privacy policies. ## 6. Availability

We aim to keep the site online, but it may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages or events outside our control. Features may be added, changed or removed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that a daily puzzle will be available at every moment around local midnight.

## 7. Disclaimer

The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

## 8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost progress, lost scores or lost data, arising from your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the game, which is zero. This does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

## 9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the game or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
